When you execute MBD for ANSYS after receiving a new license or an update license, MBD for ANSYS may not run and display the following error message.
The ‘FLEXnet Licensing error:-42,298’ message occurs when the host ID and physical address registered in the license are different from the host ID and physical address of the PC that runs MBD for ANSYS.
Therefore, when you see the above message, you need to check the physical address and receive the license again.
